Cougar Hunt
The guided trips include
lodging, meals, and are guided by

hound hunters using well trained cougar hunting dogs.
We have had 100% success on these hunts every

Semi-Guided Hunt
If you prefer more of a self guided
experience and want to find
your own cougar tracks, then this is the
best hunt for you. These
trips include lodging, meals, and specific
directions where to hunt for cougar tracks.
When you find tracks call us and we'll
bring the dogs to catch the cat.
Hound Hunter
Package
This hunt is for
hunters who have their own dogs. We provide
specific directions to the best cougar hunting
areas, a cabin to stay in, and meals, all you
have to do is hunt. Bearpaw Outfitters have been
cougar hunting Northeast Washington since 1977
and know all the best areas.

Who May
Purchase:
Anyone who has purchased a Washington
Cougar License may apply for a special permit
for hound hunting cougar.
If a quota is not reached in a hunt zone by February 15,
then the Department may issue permits to additional
hunters (hunters will be drawn at random from the unselected pool of
applicants).

How to
Purchase: Permit applications may
be purchased at any hunting and fishing
license dealership, by calling toll-free 1-866-246-9453, or
online at
www.fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov.
Permit
applications go on sale starting April 26, 2010.
The cost for a special hunt permit application is
$6.00 for residents or $60.00 for Non-residents.

Apply:
Once a
cougar permit application is purchased, you may
either call the toll-free permit application submission
telephone number 1-877-945-3492 or visit the
Internet website at:
http://www.fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/wdfw/special_permits.html.
Apply for either of these two cougar units
to hunt with Bearpaw Outfitters. Call and
confirm that you have applied for the tag, then
after you draw a tag, we'll get you booked in
for the hunt.
