These hunt info packages are very limited: only one set of hunting info and waypoints is sent for each species, weapon, and hunting area each year.

BPO learned that many hunters prefer a DIY hunt rather than a guided hunt, but various constraints often prevent hunters from having time to scout a new area, and other times hunters have just been unable to locate a good hunting area. About thirty years ago BPO began offering hunting advice and recommending hunting areas.

How It Works

BPO sends you text messages with hunting advice, links to good hunting areas, where to camp, where to turn off the highway to get to hunt areas, and where to park. Click the link in each text message and your phone loads the waypoint into onX Maps on your phone. Wherever you go during the hunt you will have the waypoints with you.
