4-Day Guaranteed Hunt
Our
guaranteed deer hunt is quickly becoming a
popular choice with whitetail deer hunters. The
guarantee is simple and straight forward, if you don't get a
reasonable shot opportunity, Bearpaw Outfitters
will refund half your hunt fee.
3-Day Guided
Whitetail
Several guide ratios
are offered which have very affordable pricing.
The regular "Guided" Whitetail Hunts are not
guaranteed but success has been 100% for several
years. These whitetail hunts include guiding,
transportation during the hunt, and game care.
Shot Opportunity
Shot opportunity
has been 100% for many years on these Montana deer hunts.
Rifle hunters
should sight rifles dead on at 200 yards, most shots range from 50 to
250
yards. Archers should practice from 10 yards up to
50 yards, depending on your ability and
equipment.
Trophy Quality
Racks on most mature
whitetail bucks will range from 15" to 20+"
wide. We limit the number
of whitetail bucks taken each year, our goal is
for all hunters to take a mature 4x4 or larger
whitetil buck.
Whitetail Hunting Areas
We operate exclusively on
private property in Central and Eastern Montana
near Lewistown and Forsyth. We have several thousand acres of private
Montana ranch land leased.
Whitetail Hunting Methods
Hunting methods often
include glassing and
spotting hillsides and brush pockets with rifle
hunters
or hunting in stands and blinds at water holes and feeding areas.
The ranches have good vehicle access, so we
can accommodate hunters of any physical
condition.
Choose an archery, muzzleloader, pistol or rifle
whitetail hunt.
Montana Whitetail Hunting Season
The rifle
whitetail hunting season is 5 weeks long,
starting in late October and ending on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
Seasons for Deer and Antelope overlap in late October and early
November. Archery season is open
September 6 to October 19.
Best Time
There is good hunting all the way
through the deer season. The first two weeks of season are popular
for whitetail deer
and antelope combo hunts. Whitetail hunters who want to experience a rut hunt
usually
schedule a rut hunt in mid November.
Temperature and
Weather
September
and October may frost at
night, but days often warm up to 40 to 80
degrees. Late October and November temps often
range from 0 to 50 degrees and snow is possible.
Check current weather forecasts on the
Montana Home Page
before
leaving for your hunt.
