Bighorn Sheep Hunting

Bearpaw Outfitters have had 100% success on all sheep hunts and they know exactly where to find sheep in the units they hunt. Bighorn Sheep are a once-in-a-lifetime hunting opportunity in both Washington and Utah. Why not employ the services of a sheep hunting guide with experience to insure your success on the best ram possible. Bearpaw Outfitters have been guiding hunts for more than 30 years, why take a chance hunting on your own or hunting with and inexperienced guide? Bearpaw Outfitters past hunters have seen 5 to 20 rams per day on most sheep hunts.

Season and Best Time

Seasons are open during September, October, or November depending on the unit. Bearpaw Outfitters are confident they can find you a good ram any time that the season is open.

Hunting Methods

Sheep hunting methods include spotting and glassing feeding, bedding, watering areas, and game trails between those areas. When a good ram is found you will stalk to within shooting range.

Shot Opportunity

Bearpaw Outfitters know exactly where to find the sheep and have had 100% success on all past hunts. Shots have varied from 50 to 250 yards, sight your rifle dead on 200 yards.

Hunt and Guide Options

Sheep hunts are guided with 1 hunter per guide. An extra guide may be used to help with spotting and packing. Three days is usually enough time to find a good ram, but hunters wanting to find the very best ram may want to choose the five day hunt. You can book the 3 day hunt and switch to a 5 day hunt if needed, provided Bearpaw Outfitters schedule will allow the extra time.
